Born with an eye for style and a heart for people, Laurel has always believed fashion is more than what you wear—it’s how you express yourself. Her vision turned Emporium 23 into more than a store; it’s a boutique rooted in connection, individuality, and confidence. She’s passionate about lifting up local makers, supporting small brands, and helping customers discover pieces that make them feel like the best version of themselves.
For Laurel, Emporium 23 is personal. It’s her way of building a space in Newton where everyone can feel welcome, inspired, and celebrated. Every rack, every display, and every piece is chosen with intention—to tell a story that makes you feel at home.
Tobias: The Shop Manager
Every boutique has its vibe, and at Emporium 23, Tobias sets the tone. Loyal sidekick, nap enthusiast, and official greeter, he makes shopping here more personal and playful. Customers love that Emporium 23 feels less like a store and more like visiting friends—and Tobias is a big reason why.
Adopted into Laurel’s family, Tobias quickly became part of the Emporium 23 story. He has a gift for making people smile—whether he’s lounging in his favorite spot, wagging his tail at the door, or keeping Laurel company during long days at the shop.
Known as “the boss” by regulars, Tobias reminds everyone who walks in that style should feel approachable, fun, and a little bit unexpected. Just like the boutique itself, he brings warmth, comfort, and character to every visit.
Meet Abby – Operations Specialist
Born and raised in the Hickory area, Abby has always had a love for animals, fashion, and discovering new things. She brings that same curiosity and passion to Emporium 23 every day.
Abby enjoys connecting with people, helping them feel more confident through fashion and accessories that reflect their personal style. Whether it’s recommending the perfect piece or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, her focus is always on creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping experience.
She joined the Emporium 23 team in 2024 as an Operations Specialist, and quickly became an essential part of the boutique’s energy and flow. With her eye for detail and love for fashion, Abby helps ensure that every customer’s visit—online or in person—feels special.
